The Flipped Learning Method

Learn the topic before class, not during it. With Oyster, kids study the week's math topic through gamified, AI-powered exercises and walk in prepared and confident.

In short

What is flipped learning?

In traditional education a student hears the topic for the first time in class, then practices with homework. Flipped learning inverts this order: the student meets the topic before the lesson, and class time is used for problem-solving, discussion and closing gaps.

Oyster brings this approach to middle school math. Each week, the child studies the upcoming topic in advance, at their own pace, and has fun doing it. They enter class ready and curious — not hearing it for the first time.

Inside Oyster

Flipped learning in three steps

Study the week's topic ahead

In sync with the school schedule, the week's topic is presented as gamified missions. The child explores it before class.

AI catches the gaps

The child's answers are analyzed; weak outcomes are detected and supported with targeted extra exercises.

Walk in ready and confident

A prepared child understands the lesson better, participates actively, and retains what they learn.
